The Bard is a great class to play!

Next to it being very useful almost anywhere as a Support, it can deal insane damage on its DPS aspect.

On the Support aspect, the bard gives positive buffs to it's allies which increases damage, decreases damage taken, applies debuffs to enemies, has a great CC toolkit and can dispell buffs from the enemies. Easily said, it's a must have for every party.

It's extremely similar to the Engineer, where every ability and feature is about the same with just a different name.

The Bard however shines in raiding setups where as the Engineer shines in group setups.

The differences are small, but are still facts.

On the DPS aspect, the Bard is a master at AOE. Very consistent AOE damage that ramps up the meters quickly.

It's able to still offer a lot of utlity in its DPS aspect because it's 2nd spec is a support.
